How to Record a Menu Item Recipe

To create a new Menu Item recipe,

1) go to Menu Items

2) Click "Recipes"

3) Highlight the Recipe you wish to create, amend or edit.

4) Choose the existing Recipe item and click to edit it.

Once inside you can create the Recipe Item you can chose to "Change Recipe Lines"

This allows you to amend the Recipe breakdown, a recipe can be a composition of ingredients, production items, and other menu items.  Choose the source of a recipe line first (ingredient, production, or menu item), then search for the item, and finally enter its quantity.

Once you are finished putting together the recipe, click on the Recalculate button to see the cost of it or just hit "Save" to save the menu item with its recipe.
