Remove a Supplier Product from within Opsimize

Follow the steps below to "remove" a supplier product within Opsimize.

In order to remove a supplier product, you must ensure that the "Linked" ingredient has 1 or more supplier products. 

Go to "Menu Items" > "Suppliers" > "Search" the item name

In this case, we have used "Boneless Chicken

Once inside the "Supplier Product" scroll down to the bottom and hit "Deactivate"

At this stage, the system will conduct a "lookup" and check whether this is the "Default Cost on Ingredient"

If it is you will be presented with this message

Effectively you will need to go to the corresponding Ingredient in this case "Boneless Chicken" and select another Supplier Product as the "Default Cost". Once you have completed this step the "Supplier Product" will appear in an "Inactive" state and cannot be purchased. 

Once "Inactive" you can select and use the "Delete" button.
