We carried out a routine deployment on the 3rd February 2021, please read below to see what was included and how this may affect your business.
Primary Count Unit
The primary count covers a few functions:
- It's how you ideally want to count this ingredient on stocktake (Existing)
- It's also the way you wish to view the stock items inventory totals (We call this total the Primary Count Measure - PCM) on the inventory page (NEW)
- It's also used within the Variance & Operational Stocktake reports - making it easier for chefs and kitchen staff to understand the numbers (NEW)
In summary, the "Primary Count Unit" change was created to allow you to view "Inventory" as is easiest for you and your team; whether that be Pallets / Boxes / Bottles / Millilitres / etc...
For more information regarding Primary and Secondary Count Unit and the effects this has on the system you can view this here: https://opsimize.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017480637
Setting the Primary Count (In case you haven't done this before):
You can see the existing Ingredient Container Sizes by opening up the ingredient, and scrolling down the page to "How You Count It". Select the Ingredient Container Size for which you want to view the item in, and press the primary button to select this.

Supplier PO Email change
We value feedback from all clients and suppliers that use our system, it was bought to our attention that the need to confirm in a separate email was causing suppliers issues so we have merged the "Confirm" button into 1 email alongside a preview of the "Purchase Order" and an attachment. The look and feel has changed slightly to ensure that the readability has improved for the end supplier.
New User Email
We have made various changes to the "New User Emails" to give a more professional feel as well as clearly defining the roles given to the user from the moment they are granted access. The team were keen to share our recent support avenues from the moment you sign up so we have included these but as always you can find them below;
